A Boston Metro Cab taxi driver lost control of his vehicle when it leaped over a curb into a group of taxi drivers in the cab pool taking a break. The cab pool is the gathering block where cab drivers wait until being called to pickup passengers from airport terminals. It was an unfortunate, but tragic accident injuring ten persons according to reports. State police interviewed the driver then let him go. They learned he pressed the gas pedal mistaking it for brakes and that it was NOT a terrorist attack because there was no intention to harm,
On July 4th at 11:40 am there were 140 taxi cabs waiting in the airport taxi pool. At 10AM there were 180 and at 9:30am there were 130.
